Q: Can I attend class without competing?
A: Yes you can!  You can compete and not take class and you can take class and not compete. However, to get the full experience of Tap2You, we suggest taking advantage of the whole day.

Q: What makes Tap2You different from other dance competitions?
A: First, Tap2You is solely a tap competition. It is a performance based, where strong technique, musicality and rhythm are judged. Though presentation and costumes are important, special awards will be given out to those who have the full package. Tap2You is also education based. It was founded on the guiding principles that tap is a community; like a family. In this community professionals interact with students, learn from one another and spend time learning how to grow and be better at what you love!

Q: What if I want to compete, but I see one of the judges is my teacher or choreographer?

A: You are still welcome to compete and take class. However, you will not be able to win an overall award or any Judges Special Awards.
